Although the leaves are turning orange and temperatures are starting to cool, October is a great month in which to get out and explore your home town or abroad. There are less crowds in holiday destinations and yet if you’re lucky then you’ll get some fantastic sunny days like we have had recently in London. We’ve rounded up our pick of the top October events, dining, style and travel that you shouldn’t miss.
October Events
Photography fans should definitely consider visiting Berlin for the Leica Oskar Barnack Award (LOBA) exhibition until 15 October. There are some seriously talented photographers on display. Eva Torok has double-exposed her photos, with a fascinating end-result.
This month sees the opening of the new Hyundai Commission in Tate Modern’s Turbine Hall by Danish collective SUPERFLEX. While details of the artwork are yet to be revealed, the Scandinavian artists are known for their playful installations and films. Check it out from 3 October until 2 April 2018. Style Picks
