1-Visit temples and attend religious ceremonies
Bali is an island of Hindu faith, an exception for a country like Indonesia with an absolute Muslim majority. This feature has produced an impressive number of temples and sacred structures, it is thought that there are more than 20,000 on the island! Among small tourist traps and genuine places to admire religious rites, the Pura Besakih is known for being the sacred temple par excellence while the Pura Luhur Uluwatu is perhaps the most suggestive one, built sheer above the sea. 2-The Monkey forest
Another of the things that can be seen in Bali is the Monkey forest. In the Ubud area there is the monkey forest, a nature reserve inhabited by hundreds of specimens of Macaco Cinomolgo, where you can get lost walking while admiring the temples hidden in the trees that make it a perfect Indiana Jones-style movie set! A word of advice: the monkeys, accustomed to the presence of man, are not at all fearful, on the contrary, so if you bring food I advise you to be careful because they could steal it.
