What to do and see in Los Cabos

Thursdays Art Walk in San Jose
Of the two cities that make up Los Cabos, San Jose del Cabo – or San Jose as it is known locally – is by far the most charming. While it certainly has its share of travel shops and pharmacies selling Viagra, Old Town is a colorful and compact place with character. Part of this character comes from the number of local artisans and art galleries that line the narrow streets of San José. On Thursday evenings, the whole scene comes to life as locals and tourists alike gather to drink, eat, and admire the art. Artisans create their art in Plaza Mijares in the city center, while the galleries and shops in the side streets stay open late.
