2003 Triumph Tiger 955i ‘Street Tiger’ By Frateschi Garage
Renato Frateschi, founder of Frateschi Garage, has just completed a breathtaking transformation of an awkward turn-of-the-millennium adventure bike – turning a 2003 Triumph Tiger 955i into a stripped-down minimalistic street scrambler christened the “Street Tiger.”
The fuel-injected three-cylinder adventure bike has been completely torn down and built back up with a sportier Triumph Daytona tank, a stubby TIG-welded subframe, and a ribbed tuck-and-roll saddle. Performance upgrades come from 43mm inverted Showa forks, an upgraded mono-shock, and Brembo calipers linked to Aeroquip hoses. The project’s one-off headlight assembly, turn signals, fenders, license plate holder, relocated battery box, and suspension guard have all been designed in CAD before being 3D-printed in ABS HT plastic filament. Rounding out the transformation is are yellow Halo LED headlights, a modern TFT display, knobby Heinedau K60 tires, tracker bars, a custom three-into-two exhaust culminating in a pair of Yoshimura cans, and a black livery with contrasting yellow accents and framework. Also be sure to check Triump 179hp Rocket 3 as well as 10 wolrd’s fastest motorcycles.
