First unveiled at the Paris Motor Show in 2010, Jaguar’s C-X75 was a bonkers 778hp hybrid supercar concept developed in collaboration with the Williams F1 team. Though a turbo and supercharged inline-four/dual electric motor version was slated to enter limited production, the Coventry-based car maker’s plans never came to fruition. A handful of prototype examples were turned out, as were four C-X75 units built specifically as stunt vehicles for the production of the 2015 James Bond flick, Spectre ? one of which is now scheduled to go under the hammer at Sotheby’s upcoming Abu Dhabi auction.

Unlike the concept and prototype C-X75s, the specimens built for the film are fully-bespoke machines, constructed around custom tubular space frames and dressed up in the prototype Jag’s sleek bodywork. At the heart of this particular stunt car ? which is chassis #001 and the first of the four made ? is the supercharged V8 from the British marque’s F-Type with a dry-sump oiling setup and a sequential six-speed transmission paired with a rear transaxle featuring a mechanical limited-slip differential.
