Located in Manhattan’s Upper East Side is No. 20 East End, a luxury residential building designed by Robert A. M. Stern. Stern is a scholar of New York architecture, particularly the buildings of the early 20th century, and his work on 20 East End reflects a certain respect for this golden era of design. As a self-described “Modern Traditionalist,” he is keen on creating timeless buildings that fit seamlessly into their historic neighborhoods.20 East End consists of 43 residences, ranging in size from two to three bedrooms and in price from $4.5 to $35 million. The residences are expansive, and the top penthouse includes a 4,500 square foot private terrace that overlooks the Upper East Side and the East River.
