The Bon-Flame is designed around a bimetallic sheet composed of two distinct metals that react differently to heat. This allows the sheet to dynamically change its shape when exposed to heat. The centerpiece of this design is a small, ball-shaped bimetallic element located at the base of the unit. As the heater operates, this bimetallic ball heats up, rotates, and slowly unfolds, mimicking the opening of a flower or the spreading of flames.
