All-Electric Sports Car – Porsche’s 522HP Taycan 4S
Earlier this year, Porsche revealed its plan to add an elaborate line of electrified variants to its catalog, kicking off its innovative integration with the Turbo and Turbo S. Now, the company has decided to add another interesting offering to its sports car range – the Taycan 4S.
When it comes to performance and affordability, this all-new electrified variant is slated to slot in just below its two siblings; but that doesn’t mean that it’s any less prodigal when it comes to power. At the base level, the great-looking 4S will provide drivers with 522-horsepower in overboost. Luckily, this can be bolstered by around 40 horses, thanks to a Performance Battery Plus package that will net the vehicle 563-horsepower.
The car’s 79.2 kWh battery pack will provide over 252 miles of range, complementing its mind-numbing four-second 0-62 mile-per-hour acceleration time.
Inside, you’ll find a curved digital instrument cluster, a 10.9-inch infotainment display, and quality-of-life features like eight-way electric seat adjustment, climate control, and premium upholstery. The Porsche Taycan 4S is slated for sale at $103,800 for the base model, while the Performance Battery Plus version will cost you a meager $110,380.
