Kapoor is renowned across the world for his colossal sculptures, like the bean-shaped Cloud Gate in Chicagoandrsquo;s Millenium Park, the Grand Palias in Paris and the Sky Mirror in Nottingham, England.andnbsp; br /br /The sale also saw works by other artists like SH Raza, Bharti Kher, Subodh Gupta and VS Gaitonde. Artist Gulam Mohammed Sheikhandrsquo;s workandmdash;Tree Over Mountains, made in 1937, sold for INR 1.20 crores, which was far higher than its estimated price. br /br /The auction saw a total of 80 artworks going under the hammer, including works of young artists like Thukral and Tagra, and Nikhil Chopra.
