Antonio Banderas is best known for his career as an actor and producer, but in his spare time he’s been exploring other avenues of interest. Lately the 55-year-old actor has been studying fashion design at Central Saint Martins in London. On May 25th he presented his first collection in collaboration with Selected, a Scandinavian high-street label that is led by head designer Daniel Struzinski.Struzinksi wanted the collection to capture Banderas’ “everyday man” sense of fashion. “In the morning, I wear jeans, something comfortable, sneakers, a T-shirt and maybe a leather jacket, and I go out,” said Banderas. “If I have meetings, I want to go a little bit more elegant so I wear chinos, a blazer to have a meeting with the producer, or a cocktail. At night I have to go on the red carpet, so I?d like to use a tuxedo obviously or a black suit.”The linings of the outerwear and jackets are Banderas’ signature shade of ocean blue, inspired by his native Spain.
