Aston Martin unveiled its latest concept at the Concorso d’Eleganza Villa d’Este, held at Lake Como this weekend and it is in a word, stunning. Designed by long-time styling partner Zagato, this latest expression of the Vanquish is without a doubt the most beautiful Aston Martin to date.While officially only a concept, the Vanquish Zagato could easily be put into production if demand is there. Underneath its gorgeous carbon fiber coachwork is naturally aspirated V12 engine that makes 600 horsepower and will undoubtedly use the company’s 8-speed touchtronic automatic transmission with paddle shifters to put the power to the rear wheels. But the real story here is the design.The project was developed and engineered in Aston Martin’s Graydon headquarters by Executive Vice President and Chief Creative Officer, Marek Reichman in collaboration with Andrea Zagato and his team in Milan.
