On the 22nd of February, 2024, Crieff became the epicentre of celebration as The Glenturret announced the launch of this exclusive whisky, limited to just 220 bottles. This number is an homage to the C-Type’s total horsepower, highlighting the intricate links between the drink and the machine it celebrates. The collaboration between The Glenturret and Jaguar Classic is not new, but this release marks their second partnership, emphasizing a continued commitment to celebrating heritage and pioneering achievements.
The Jaguar C-Type, known for its remarkable triumphs in the 1953 24 Hours of Le Mans, introduced disc brakes to the world, setting a new average speed record and firmly establishing its legacy in motorsport history.
