Chanel is staying home this year for its Metiers d?Art catwalk show, which will take place in the Ritz Paris.The French fashion house has revealed it will honour its roots by putting on the 2016 edition of its annual show in the iconic, newly renovated hotel this winter.Creative Director Karl Lagerfeld chose the Ritz for its links to the house?s famous founder, Gabrielle ?Coco? Chanel, who lived at the hotel for over 30 years, decorating the luxury apartment herself.Located in the French capital?s prestigious Place Vendome, the Ritz re-opened its doors this summer after a four-year-long renovation period that saw the addition of a new ?terrasse? and the reduction of rooms from 159 to 142 for a more spacious guest experience.
