For yachting professionals with experience of the international boat show circuit and those who work on a yacht, few events are anticipated with such excitement as the annual Antigua Charter Yacht Show. Following the atrocities caused by hurricanes in 2017, the Caribbean seafaring community is keen to underpin the importance of the region as a staple of the international yachting scene. With the 56th edition of the event being held between the 4th and 10th December, we take the opportunity to share some of the highlights of the Antigua Charter Yacht Show, as expected in 2017.
The Start of the Caribbean Yachting Season | As a trade-only event, the Antigua Charter Yacht Show is reserved for brokers, crew, crew recruiters, and other industry professionals. On offer is the opportunity to view the best vessels available for charter in the Caribbean region, as well as the chance to network, socialise, and view the latest innovations that are to enhance the industry. Taking place in Falmouth Harbour Marina, the Antigua Yacht Club Marina, and Nelson?s Dockyard Marina, the illustrious occasion will mark the start of the Caribbean yachting season and will welcome superyachts of all sizes from across the world.
