Crystal Cruises creating showcase for luxury products
Crystal Cruises said it will create a showcase north of downtown Miami for its stable of luxury products, including river and yacht cruises, air tours and residences at sea.
The unusual showcase, due to open in spring 2017, will serve as the headquarters for travelers to preview Crystal Residences and will also provide “an immersive and interactive experience for guests who want a glimpse into the all-inclusive Crystal experience.?
A submarine will be suspended from the ceiling to highlight the submarines carried by adventure yachts Crystal Esprit and Crystal Endeavor.
The showcase will be housed in a restored three-story art deco building on Biscayne Boulevard near Miami?s performing arts center.
The ground floor will include a Bistro Lounge akin to the Bistro Café found aboard the Crystal Symphony and Crystal Serenity and a sit-down restaurant where a sampling of cuisine from Crystal ships will be served. It will also have models for the residences. An elevator ride to the second floor will take visitors to ?an all-encompassing 180-degree cinematic experience of all things Crystal.?
Large-scale murals and video walls will highlight the global experiences and destinations Crystal offers. Two large outdoor balconies will be redesigned to reflect a ship?s private verandas, and conference rooms for residential sales will line the perimeter.
