Today’s home in Terrace Park, Ohio is a fascinating Italianate style home with a colorful history. Built in 1854, the home has the the style and elegance of another century while boasting fabulous finishes and updates throughout.The home is named the Robinson Circus house because in 1870, John F. Robinson bought the house and nearby acreage as the winter home for his circus. He had a popular circus and transformed the home into a Victorian showplace.The home has new gourmet kitchen.The master suite has a dressing area and spa bathroom.Robinson added two-story wrought-iron porches built in New Orleans and imported marble fireplace surrounds from Europe as well as enlarging the home to meet his lavish entertainment needs.Other details of the home include second floor laundry, beautiful staircases, and a  fabulous finished third floor. In 1916 the Robinsons sold their circus to the Ringling Brothers, but kept a few favorite elephants on the farm.  In 1932, Tillie, the family’s favorite elephant passed away.
