One of the most recognisable watches designed by Eberhard, the Chrono 4 was introduced in 2001 after a significant investment in research and development in order to create a chronograph featuring 4 inline counters for chronograph minutes, chronograph hours, 24 hours and small seconds.

To celebrate the 20th anniversary of this model, the Swiss brand is presenting its latest interpretation, the Chrono 4 21-42 (with 21 referring to the year 2021 and 42 to the diameter of the watch).

The watch is housed in a 42 mm x 13.30 mm round case crafted from stainless steel with a slim and fixed black ceramic bezel engraved with a white tachymeter scale.

Protected by a sapphire crystal with internal anti-reflective coating, the dial is available in black or white and characterised by a ?Clous de Paris? background with ?azurée’ four counters. Except for the central chronograph seconds hand, the other six hands are skeletonised with a luminescent tip for improved readability in poor light condition.
The solid caseback fixed by 6 screws features a central medallion in bas-relief personalised with the Chrono 4 21-42 logo. Behind it, the self-winding mechanical Calibre EB. 251 (base ETA 2894-2 integrating the Eberhard’s patented device for the inline counters) beats at a frequency of 28,800 vibrations per hour with an autonomy of 42 hours.
