Elegant and Sleek Coupe Ferrari Roma
Ferrari has unveiled the new Roma. The Maranello-based luxury sports car manufacturer has taken inspiration from mid-front-engined grand touring machines like the 250 GT Berlinetta Lusso and the 250 GT 2+2 while building the new coupe. Ferrari Roma has been named after the Italian capital of Rome. Ferrari Roma is powered by a 3.9-litre, V8 turbo engine that delivers 620 hp and 760 Nm of torque. The motor is offered with an 8-speed F1 dual-clutch gearbox. The luxury coupe can make 0-100 kmph in 3.4 seconds and 0-200 kmph in 9.3 seconds. The top speed is in north of 320 kmph. The engine features Variable Boost Management for instantaneous throttle response.
The new Roma is 4,656 mm long. It is 1,974 mm wide, while the height is 1,301 mm. The wheelbase is 2,670 mm. The front and rear tracks measure 1,652 mm and 1,679 mm, respectively. The standard boot space is 272 litres, which can be increased up to 345 litres. The coupe has an 80-litre fuel tank.
Ferrari Roma’s chassis makes use of the modular technology developed by the luxury sports car manufacturer for its new generation models. Both bodyshell and chassis have been redesigned to incorporate the latest weight reduction and advanced production technologies. The company claims that 70 per cent of the components of the Roma are new and it has the best weight/power ratio in its segment.
