Food Review: Hakkasan's Anniversary Brunch
In honour of its anniversary, when Hakkasan in suburban Mumbai started the 'Hakka Brunch' scheduled for Sundays, 5th June onwards, we couldn't help but make sure we tried it out. The restaurant has curated a special menu for the brunch, which is a unique and modern take on Cantonese cuisine, featuring cocktails, salads, small eats, mains and dessert.

pExcited to begin, we started off with the two salads on the menuandmdash;the soba noodle with tofu lettuce wrap and chicken, and the prosperity salad with prawns; washing both down with cocktailsandmdash;Pink Lady and Topaz. The soba noodle complemented by the punch of spice from the chilly tofu and flavourful noodles was delicious to say the least; while the prosperity salad was a scrumptious bowl of crunchy, shredded vegetables and well-flavoured prawns. We werenandrsquo;t particularly pleased with Pink Lady, which was slightly bland for our taste. However, Topaz completely made up for it with the perfect kick of rum and Amaretto!andnbsp;/p pandnbsp;/p
