Background and Concept
Beautifully positioned in Portman Square which oozes quintessential British charm and refinement the hotel was built to a meticulous design and opened in 1970 by the Loews Hotel Group as ?The Churchill?. In Feb 2004 Hyatt Hotels took over full ownership of the property and the hotel that we now know and love was born.
The hotel?s semi brutalist exterior makes way to sleek and spacious interiors complete with chandeliers, marble pillars and polished wooden floors. Interiors offer references to Winston Churchill throughout the communal areas and guest rooms, with unique Churchhill artifacts dotted around the property too.
