It’s eye-candy aplenty at the sixth edition of the Singapore Yacht Show, which kicks off Friday with vessels designed to appeal to the mega-wealthy.
The weekend-long event aims to be a platform to introduce high-net worth individuals to yachting professionals and owners in order to bolster Southeast Asia’s yachting culture.
The yacht industry hope to capitalize on the tourism potential of Southeast Asian islands, world-renowned for their beauty, as well as the region’s growing population of billionaires.

Developed by Italian shipbuilders Benetti, this 56-meter yacht has an East-meets-West aesthetic with its combination of briar-root wood, lilac and jade embellishments. Guests can enjoy a fully equipped beach club onboard, complete with pool, bar, gymnasium, steam, shower and massage room.
La Familia

Following a successful debut last year, Dutch shipbuilder Amels is back again this year with the 55-meter La Familia. Featuring work by noted yacht designers Tim Heywood and Laura Sessa, the boat has a 25-meter sun deck and can host 12 guests and 13 crew members.
Sensation
Fraser Yachts
In Singapore waters for the first time, this 50-meter yacht accommodates up to 12 guests and 10 crew members. Built by New Zealand’s Sensation Yachts, the luxury vessel also has a jacuzzi and WiFi.
