From the Model A Fords to Datsun Group Z Sports cars, the first ever Los Angeles Classic Auto Show promises an automotive treat for all vehicular tastes.In all, the inaugural show, which opens its doors from January 27 at the Los Angeles Convention Center, will play host to over $137 million worth of historic cars and welcome over 35 classic car clubs from around the US.One of the star attractions will be the Grand Boulevard display charting the evolution of the automobile over 100 years and 50 models. The showcase will include a 1929 Rolls-Royce from the Petersen Museum plus a 1929 Bentley 4.5-liter Tourer Vanden Pass from Bruce Mayer’s collection.One of America’s most renowned car collectors, Mayer will also be present at the show as its official Grand Marshall. “Bringing The Classic Auto Show to Los Angeles, the real car capital of the world, is a natural and it brings us all together to celebrate,” said Meyer. “I look forward to meeting fellow car lovers and sharing our enthusiasm.”The Historic Vehicle Association is also one of the show’s major s...
