In an effort to broaden its appeal and deliver a more comfortable driving experience while still providing legendary performance, McLaren is introducing a GT version of it’s 570 Coupé they debuted earlier this year. Designed to be a true Grand Touring car, the 570GT features a suspension retuned to deliver more comfort on long drives, an upgraded highly luxurious interior, and a rear hatch that opens up to provide ample storage space on the leather-clad deck behind the rear seats.Powered by the same 562 horsepower 3.8 Liter twin turbo V8 engine that’s in the 570 Coupé, the 570GT puts up impressive performance numbers. 0-60 comes in just a tick over 3 seconds and you’ll see 125 miles per hour in just under 10. But the real story in this car lies in the suspension, steering and interior changes that make it more suited for everyday driving.McLaren knows that not every mile you drive is over the perfectly smooth pavement of a racetrack. So the front and rear suspension systems have been softened by 10% and 15% respectively, creating a more comfortable ride over your typical urban and suburban road surfaces.
