As children, many of us would dream of flying cars that had robot brains and would zip us about without care. Mom would just jump into a craft that resembled a spaceship and direct it to take her to the local grocery store. The amazing thing about this dream is that it isn’t all that far off. While not particularly designed to improve the driving experience, smart vision pieces such as Google Glass involve technologies that have been utilized in the most advanced fighter jets. This sort of heads-up technology allows the wearer to multitask without ever having their attention be drawn from the road. Smart vision devices run applications ranging from communication to navigation that provides the wearer the ability to be able to look up their location or even call for a reservation while they are en route.
