Want to see a Bugatti yacht" Sports car designer Etienne Salomé has presented his first sports tender project under the new brand Salomé Yachts. Construction is underway on the first 12 units of the new 12 metre full custom sport tender at Salomé’s facility in Italy. The first client deliveries are set to delivery to coincide with the 2020 Monaco Yacht Show. Named Atlantic, the tender has been designed by Salomé, who has previously designed for the likes of Bugatti, Mazda and Renault. Atlantic will be the first yacht project produced by the fledgling brand.

Inspired by sports car design, Atlantic features a “revolutionary flow-through hull concept inspired by formula one aerodynamics”. The hull allows air to flow through the yacht, increasing stability and reducing drag. The tender has been named Atlantic in homage to ?the most beautiful classic sports car of all time?, the Bugatti T57SC Atlantic, Salomé said.
Elsewhere, the tender will feature a Garmin glass cockpit, optional self-docking technology and a ?distinct sporty character?. The tender will carry a number of water toys, including two customised Seabobs. Atlantic will also be equipped with 14 speakers and two subwoofers and can transport a total of nine people. Power will come from a pair of Volvo Penta D6-440/ DPI 324kW 880HP engines for a top speed of 55-60 knots. Also be sure to check 10 most expensive yachts and fastets speedboats in the world.
