New Way to Holiday: Hop-on Hop-off Private Jet Expeditions
Vacations that merge the simplicity of group tours with exclusive experiences, swish stays and quick commutes via private jet. The idea of a traditional group tour isn?t terribly glamorous, but swap the coach for a private jet and you have a billionaire-worthy holiday.
High end tour operators like Remote Lands and andBeyond are now offering hop-on, hop-off private jet tours to far-flung destinations like Bhutan and Lijiang, stopping off at the most luxurious hotels in the land.
?It would never have been possible to visit four countries, experience the variety of cultures and do it without a worry if we hadn?t taken the private jet trip,? said a client of the Aman Private Jet Journey tailored by Remote Lands, a luxury Asia-travel operator which has partnered with Aman Resorts. Aman Resorts and Remote Lands have held two such tours so far, in October 2015 and March 2016, both focussed on Asia?s most stunning and hard-to-access destinations.
The third, set to take flight from 9 to 26 October 2016, will accommodate 16 guests on two eight-seater Gulfstream G200 private jets. The travel itinerary will cover countries such as China, Bhutan, India and Sri Lanka, similar to its inaugural voyage last year.
