Fashion designs tend to go in cycles and Nike has recently begun a new revival of 1970’s style melded with modern sneaker technology.  The Nike Air Max LD-Zero ($180) has the classic LS-1000 running shoe as a base, modified by Fragment Designs Hiroshi Fujiwara in a limited edition LD-Zero H, and now in its own expanding release.
Just in time to celebrate Air Max Day, the LD-Zero has a nylon mesh upper for comfort and breathability that has been set onto the most modern full-length Max Air cushioned gum rubber sole.  It features an oversized vintage Swoosh in leather on the sides with a suede heel counter.  It is branded on the tongue and heel stop and features Flywire lacing. Originally released in just two monochromatic colorways of white and tonal gray, other colors quickly followed in Medium Olive, Khaki, and Pearl Pink.  You can also customize a pair through the NikeID program for just a bit more.  The minimalistic silhouette and diverse colorways should make this new sneaker at home in almost any situation you find yourself in.   [via]
