Our Colby vases are crafted in a workshop that’s owned and operated entirely by women. Recipes for the materials they use?in this case, a blend of dolomite and clay?are developed at the studio specifically for each type of item they make. Colby begins in a handcrafted mold that’s filled by an artisan, then left to dry. Once released from the mold, each vase is smoothed by hand and finished in a multi-step process with hand-applied glazes. #ethanallen #ethanallendesign #interiordesign #handcrafted
