Despite a complex electronics system, BMW’s new R 1250 R is quickly becoming a popular choice amongst builders for customization. And while we’ve seen a slew of projects based on the 1250 roadster, none have captured our attention or captivated us more than Renard Speed Shop‘s latest build, entitled “Reimagined.”

Baring some resemblance to the Lotus C-01 concept motorcycle from 2014, Renard’s slammed and stanced R 1250 R now wears a full custom suite of bodywork that’s been handmade from aluminum and includes a massive belly-pan complemented via a front grille piece that’s been precision-machined from aluminum billet, a new tank cover with winglet-style pieces enshrouding a pair of K&N pod filters, and a new set of 3D-printed fork covers. The front of the bike sports a stacked set of circular headlights held in a custom housing while the rear-end boasts a thoroughly modern take on a bobber-style seat with an integrated tail light. Riding on a top-shelf set of beefy Jonich spoked wheels, the project has also received a titanium Akrapovi? race exhaust system taken from a Ducati Panigale Superleggera.
