THE BLACKBOOK: A rare Ferrari with a very strong work ethic
When it comes to vintage and classic cars, sometimes its all about the resume and this particular Ferrari’s CV reads like a desirable world class race car.

Ferrari dominated the track and the showroom in the 1950’s with the 250. Many variants and trims were spun off from the original model and some cars were destined only for the track while others roamed the avenues of Monaco and Beverly Hills for leisure use.

One model that stands out in the model’s lineage is the Ferrari 250 GT LWB Berlinetta Scaglietti TdF. Let’s break that down:
LWB stands for Long Wheel Base
Berlinetta refers to the sporty coupe lines of the body work Scaglietti refers to Carrozzeria Scaglietti who handled construction of project cars
TdF stands for Tour de France race which this car ran in 1959
