The Mercedes Maybach G650 was Introduced at this year?s Geneva Motor Show, the Mercedes-Maybach G650 Landaulet is one of the most over-the-top vehicles the German automaker has ever made. Out of the 99 that were built, 98 of them were sold even before the Geneva Motor Show came to a close. The one left was retained by Mercedes-Benz with the purpose of auctioning it for charity. The ultra-rare luxury SUV is set to go under the hammer at Bonhams, at its Zoute auction, on 6 October and the proceeds will be donated to Laureus Sport for Good, a charity of which Mercedes-Benz is a global partner. The foundation focuses on helping children and young people overcome violence, discrimination and disadvantage through sport. It is powered by Mercedes AMG V12 biturbo engine, capable of producing 630bhp and a peak torque of 1000 Nm. The luxury SUV is more than 5 meters long and 2 meters high, with a ground clearance of half a meter. This is also the very first G 650 Landaulet to come to public auction, that too straight from the manufacturer, which makes it an exceedingly rare opportunity.
