pAt the Amazon India Fashion Week that took place in Delhi from 15th to 18th March, three major trends emerged from 39 shows. The neutral trend made a comeback of sorts after being all the rage in 2015, and glitter and shine continued to go strong. The strongest in look and feel, though, was the sportswear trend./p

pWhile Vineet Bahl, Samant Chauhan, Siddartha Tytler, and Pankaj andamp; Nidhi used black and white almost exclusively, other designers like Namrata Joshipura, munkee.see.munkee.do, and Rina Dhaka had monochromes dominate most of their collection. p....is turning out to be gold! However, it's a restrained bling that's delicately sewn in glitzy details, or seen in fabrics with a dull sheen, that complement fall's eveningwear. Hemant andamp; Nandita's golden jacket is a good example, and Amit Aggarwal's strips of shiny Benarasi brocade on his dresses that glimmered as the fabric moved with the wearer. At Wendell Rodricks, designer Schulen Fernandes used metallic details on a blazer to emphasise the shoulder - restrained, yet opulent./p
