Location
Located directly on the Gran Via, Madrid?s main boulevard that snakes through the city centre. The hotel is seconds from the main shopping district and awash with bars and restaurants. A gentle ten minutes walk from the hotel and you are at Retiro Park and the Prado Museum and the jumping district of Chueca is directly behind the hotel.
Style
Designed by Jaime Beriestain, the hotel occupies a landmark building on the Gran Via which was constructed in the early 1900?s. The hotel’s interiors are finished in bold greens and turquoises, which are a node to the hotels original styling On entering the hotel through the mint green hallway into the lobby the space is fresh and fun and a taste of things to come. There is no seperate reception and bar instead the mixed use space gets you straight into the action from the moment you set down your bag so why not order a cocktail while you check in.
The lounge area off the lobby is decorated with a rainbow of bright and funky fabrics and furnishings in direct contrast to the muted greens.
