VSSL Outdoor Utility Tools has determined that LED flashlights require so little space for bulbs and batteries now that they needed to find something to do with all the extra space in the handle.  Their newest creation has turned it into a flask for your favorite beverage!
The VSSL Flask ($73) is a simple military spec aluminum cylinder 9″ long by 2″ in diameter, and weighs only 18 ounces (510 grams) empty.  At one end is a powerful LED ‘flood’ beam lantern light charged by 3 E90 batteries.  Inside the shaft is a glass-lined compartment to hold roughly 10 ounces (300 ml) of liquid. But the VSSL Flask still has more surprises in its compact little body.  Unscrewing various levels of the Flask reveal two collapsible shot glasses so you can share the celebrations, a compass for navigation, and a simple but effective bottle opener.  Space is always at a premium in outdoor adventuring and this helpful multi-tasker is designed to help make that trip sweet and easy.
