World's Oldest Aircraft Carrier INS Viraat to be Revamped into a Luxury Hotel
Celebrating its century old servicefirst to the British and now to the Indian Navy-the age old aircraft carrier INS Viraat is all set to convert into a luxury hotel. Having sailed across borders with top notch fighter planes and helicopters, this heritage property will soon see the light of the day as a luxury property upping the ante for Indian tourism.

pAndhra Pradesh tourism will soon host a new luxury hotel on Vizag shores as the century-old Centaur-class aircraft carrier, strongINS Viraat/strong, is set to be revamped into a 500-room luxury property this year. Designed by the British and launched in 1953, the ship that served as a world class carrier to the Indian Navy transporting 26 fighter planes, helicopters with 16 Sea Harriers and Chetaks will now be inducted into Indiaandrsquo;s tourism league./p pandnbsp;/p
