If you think it’s too early to talk Christmas, the visual merchandisers at Hudson’s Bay think you are seasonally wrong. The department store deployed it’s Christmas merchandising layout and store windows in mid September while the city of Toronto still had 30 degree heat.
Regardless, this particular gift should be pre-ordered now as it anything that carries the McLaren label tends to sell out…fast.
McLaren recently promised a slew of new products over the next 10 years and it’s latest engineering feat is a little on the small size but still delivers many McLaren’esque experiences.

The Ride On Electric McLaren P1 is a toy version of the McLaren’s P1 hypercar and it holds many of McLaren’s trademarked elements. The all electric, 3 speed system propels the  to it’s maximum speed of 3 mph in only 2 seconds. Pocket sized McLaren performance! The single centre seat configuration is reminiscent of McLaren’s F1 supercar and scissor doors (dihedral) are hallmark of current McLaren designs.
Exterior lights, push button start, a ventilation system and an MP3 players are included in the the open-top car. Which technically makes this the only open-top McLaren sold by the company today. Don’t we always want better for our children"

Available at McLaren dealerships in October for about $500 US.
