Daren Metropoulos, a principal at private-equity firm Metropoulos and Co., is all set to buy Hugh Hefner's extravagant Playboy Mansion. The mansion that was listed at $200 million will eventually undergo a major revamp and will become part of Hefnerand#039;s old neighbouring estate which was also bought by Daren in 2009. Joining the two would make the estates one of the biggest in Holmby Hills. Although the official buying sum is still under wraps, it is said, the deal sets a record for the highest-priced residential sale in Los Angeles.
