Claife Viewing Station
For fantastic views across Lake Windermere, head to Claife Viewing Station which is not too far from the ferry to Bowness. The viewing station has been there since the 1800s, but was recently reopened to visitors by the National Trust and features beautiful coloured glass panels which represent the different seasons. There is also a lovely cosy cafe where you can pop in to grab refreshments, such as tea and cake. Perfect for unwinding or recharging after the climb!
