Ester Ledecka – Q&A with Double Gold Olympic Medalist
Ester Ledecka is the first athlete to win the 1st place in ski and snowboard in the same competition – at the highest competitive level. Her competitive career began at the fragile age of just five years old and she has gone from strength to strength in accruing victories ever since, with her most recent (and impressive) at the PyeongChang 2018 Winter Olympic Games, in South Korea, where she took double gold in skiing and snowboarding – the first female athlete to achieve such a performance in a single edition of the Winter Olympics.
The Czech native is one of the youngest Richard Mille female sports partners and is in good company with names such as Nafissatou Thiam, World Heptathlon champion, and Ukrainian high jumper Yuliya Levchenko. On a recent trip to Courchevel, hosted by Richard Mille, who since the brand?s inception has been actively collaborating with partners at the pinnacle of their respective sporting disciplines, we were lucky enough to spend some time with this determined and multi-talented young lady.
