I have visited Barcelona a number of times now and instantly fall in love with the city’s hypnotic charm each time I visit. This Catalonian metropolis has it all; incredible food, culture, architectural marvels and a pretty great beach too! On this trip to Barcelona I wanted to stay somewhere right in the heart of the city, slightly away from the hubbub of the Gothic quarter, but near the Gaudi buildings. I also wanted somewhere that has the feeling of being hidden away, a place you can escape to after a day of sightseeing with the masses. So when an invitation to try out H10 Hotels latest property the H10 Casa Mimosa came to me I knew it was going to be the perfect place for my latest city adventure.

Located in a 19th century traditional Catalan style building and on the same block as Casa Milà, (La Pedrera – One of Gaudi’s most famous pieces of work) you really are in the heart of all things cultural! Casa Mimosa is 4 star, but I would give it 4 star ++ it is simply stunning, elegant and cosmopolitan, with a welcoming relaxed feeling the moment you walk though the doors.
