Restored Race-Ready 1954 Jaguar XK120 by Jaguar Classic
Being the first sports car built by the British car company after WWII, the Jaguar XK120 holds a special place in the hearts of automotive enthusiasts. Although the car isn’t particularly rare, it’s a drool-worthy treat when restored professionally. Built for life-long Jaguar fanatic David Gandy, this bespoke 1954 Jaguar XK120 By Jaguar Classic is absolutely immaculate.
Jaguar Classic spent over five months to rebuild the 3.4-liter inline six-cylinder engine, upgrading it in the process from 180hp to 225hp. To withstand higher speeds, they added steel bracing to the core plugs for superior stability. This XK120 also has a racing-style gearbox, fast-shifting gearbox, and upgraded brakes with discs. Inside, you’ll find beautiful Aged Saddle tan leather and a custom 15-inch steering wheel. Not only is this a flawless restoration of the XK120, but it’s also ready for racing. However, we’re not entirely sure we’d be brave enough to race this gorgeous 11-month project if we were handed the keys. And don’t forget to check 15 most beautiful cars of all tieme.
