Crete Ring House from Stone and Concrete
Clad in stone and concrete, the Crete Ring House by deca ARCHITECTURE becomes a part of the natural landscape. The curved dwelling follows the contour of the land. Neutral materials blend into the desert terrain, further integrating itself into its hillside plot. Its U-shape wraps around a central courtyard protecting a garden of citrus trees and edible plants from the harsh climate. Internally, white walls are washed in natural light creating a bright, airy atmosphere. Large glazed panels provide extensive views while an infinity pool overlooks the sea. In an effort to preserve the existing environment, seeds were collected from the site before construction and cultivated in a greenhouse. The plants were then sowed around the structure to reestablish the native flora. Also we recommend you to check modern house in California and 12 world’s most extraordinary swimming pools.
